Founded and registered in Dali, Yunnan Province in 2003, Yunnan Europe-Asia Dairy Co., Ltd., has developed steadily for more than 20 years with the care and support of Party committees, governments and competent authorities at all levels. It has grown into a leading dairy enterprise in southern China featuring large operational scale, sound economic and social benefits, strong comprehensive brand influence and well-received products among consumers. The company has won over 100 honors successively, including the title of National Key Leading Enterprise in Agricultural Industrialization, Top 20 Enterprises in China’s Dairy Industry, Yunnan Key Industry Leading Enterprise, and Top 10 Green Food Enterprises of Yunnan Province. In terms of breeding business, leveraging the superior resource endowments of Dali, the company has invested in and built large-scale smart ecological dairy farms in Heqing, Yunlong, Yongping and Xiangyun Counties. It has introduced purebred Jersey cows and Holstein cows from abroad to establish a core breeding herd. Milk produced by Jersey cows features a rich texture, mellow and smooth taste, with a milk fat rate of 4.5%–6%, milk protein rate of 3.8%–4.5%, and natural calcium content of 120mg–130mg/100ml, 20%–30% higher than ordinary milk in all key indicators.
Equipped with industry-leading supporting facilities including integrated mixed feeding systems, automatic drinking devices and large-scale central feeding kitchens, the company realizes efficient standardized breeding. It is also equipped with advanced supporting facilities such as DeLaval rotary intelligent milking systems, automatic manure cleaning systems, bedding regeneration systems and large-scale biogas projects for manure disposal. Meanwhile, it has introduced digital pasture management systems including Afimilk and Yimuyun, establishing a full-process quality traceability and digital management system covering the whole industrial chain from pasture to table, which lays a solid foundation for the production of green and organic dairy products.
Furthermore, the company actively promotes key projects such as innovative Jersey cattle breeding and seed industry base construction. While continuously improving breeding capacity and differentiated competitive advantages, it drives the coordinated development of surrounding growers, breeders and small and medium-sized pastures through technology output, and has been rated as a National Standardized Livestock and Poultry Breeding Demonstration Farm by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
In terms of production, guided by the deployment and requirements of provincial and prefectural Party committees and governments for high-quality development of the dairy industry, the company fully promotes digital and green technological transformation and upgrading, and continuously expands dairy production capacity. By introducing the MOM (Manufacturing Operation Management) system, it realizes comprehensive digitalization of 12 major business processes including production scheduling, raw milk receiving, production management, quality management and equipment management. The transformation has greatly improved production efficiency, enterprise management level, quality assurance capability and cross-departmental collaboration efficiency, forming a full-link digital and intelligent operation and closed-loop quality management system from pasture to table. With the completion of the Phase IV factory capacity expansion project, the company’s annual designed dairy production capacity has reached 600,000 tons, further strengthening the industrial synergy of driving primary and tertiary industries through secondary industry development.
In terms of R&D, the company owns a provincial-level enterprise technology center and maintains in-depth cooperative relations with top domestic scientific research institutions such as China Agricultural University, Jiangnan University and the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. It has jointly built an expert cooperation workstation with Professor Chen Wei, Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and President of China Agricultural University. Through independent innovation and industry-university-research cooperation, the company has independently developed more than 100 product categories, boasting strong competitive advantages in the R&D of characteristic dairy products and functional probiotic fermented milk.
In terms of marketing, the company has introduced an omni-channel ERP management system and customer relationship management system to build and optimize an integrated online and offline marketing system. At present, its offline sales network covers the whole of Yunnan Province and radiates to most provinces and cities across China. Online, it has launched hundreds of self-operated and authorized stores on mainstream e-commerce platforms. The enterprise has maintained steady growth in operating benefits over the years.
